Austin is full of bar scenes put together in groups so you can bar hop very easily.

Most visitors go out to 6th St the first night. Locals call it Dirty 6th. It’s similar to bourbon street. We typically go to Rainey St or West Sixth. They are nicer and all close to the apartment. Still, as a tourist I think you would regret it if you didn’t go for one night to Dirty 6th.
